The unit needs to be labeled in the notebook.
In Kinder, the teacher writes the vocabulary word in the student’s notebook. *Not the student
In Gr1-Gr2, the students write the words.
Step 3-Show and Write
The student draws a picture to demonstrate understanding of the word.
Step 5- Reflect and Refine
The student adds related words or/and pictures from magazines or newspaper.
